In a previous podcasting episode, I covered a physician-scientist compelling testimony about ivermectin. Ivermectin is an old FDA-approved drug, that should be considered for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19, based on numerous scientific studies.
If you missed it, I encourage you to hear it to understand the whole story. See the video below for the podcast of Dr. Pierre Kory’s testimony. https://www.c-span.org/person/?128609

On January 14, 2021, Professor Helen Rees was interviewed regarding the ivermectin evidence. She clearly stated that there is not enough evidence to support ivermectin. However, some are not buying her statement after reading the latest preliminary evidence published by Dr. Andrew Hill. See the tweet below for details.
Pls reinterview Dr. Rees after she reviews Andrew Hill MD's meta-analysis funded by Unitaid (WHO), Tess Lawrie, PhD's review of the evidence and the recent paper published yesterday by the FLCCC. Hill and Lawrie find drastic mortality reduction. Not poorly done. @PanData19 https://t.co/MnEGWY4IeV

Now, I will give you an update in the video below on ivermectin based on the work of Dr. Kory and others.
Pilot Study
A small pilot study has shown that an early single dose of ivermectin in the first 72 hours lowered viral load in people with symptoms of covid. The results are not statistically significant meaning it could have happened by chance. However, not many would argue that it is clinically significant and warrant more robust trials. You can view the lead scientist presentation in the video below.
