by Tonya L. Breaux-Shropshire, Ph.D., MPH, RN –
I have had a Coronavirus (COVID-19) survivor ask me what to do to get better. In this post, I turn to the experts who tell how to get better from COVID-19 as a survivor.
Hypertension is among other chronic diseases that are risk factors for COVID-19) symptoms. African Americans are at a higher risk for COVID-19 as well. Only a small percentage of people who become ill from COVID-19 will have a severe case of the virus. Further, even less will end up in the ICU, and not many will die from the virus when compared to the number of people exposed.
It takes some time to get better. The length of time may be different for different people. However, COVID-16 experts have recommendations and protocols although there is no treatment or vaccine to date.
Experts Tells Diagnoses, Prevention, Treatment & Mutation of COVID-19
In early April 2020, doctors at Texas Heart Institute held a teleconference to talk about COVI-19. See the video below where they discuss the diagnoses, prevention, and treatment of COVID-19.
Experts Tells What You Can Do to Get Better with COVID-19 Symptoms
The symptoms of COVID-19 are similar to other illnesses. Dr.Ali Haider, a board-certified cardiologist, gives a review of symptoms, testing, and what to do if exposed to get better.

Knowing the course of symptoms during COVID-19 is different for different people. Dr. Cellini reviewed the symptoms of the governor of New York brother’s experience with COVID-19 and his course of illness with the virus. Dr. Cellini also reviews his chest x-ray as well.
Here Dr. Cellini tells you how to make a face mask from a tee-shirt, and he tells you the effectiveness of this mask for your safety. This will help protect your family members and others from COVID-19 if you are infected.
Covid-19 and Personal Protective Equipment
If you are exposed to COVID-19, your doctors will likely advise you to recover at home. However, if you are admitted to the hospital, your family will probably not be allowed in the hospital with you. Nevertheless, there may come a time when this policy will change. Yet, some people have been allowed to initially be with their family members. See the video below for how to use personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper handwashing to protect yourself from COVID-19.
Experts Gives the Protocol for How to Get Better from COVID-19
Dr. Ditritic Klinghard discussed how to get better from COVID-19 during the interview recorded in March 2020. Go to the YouTube video to see the entire interview. It is called “Dr Klinghardt COVID-19 Q&A 10th March 2020″. He recommends vitamin D, licorice, elderberry, vitamin C, and other recommendations to recovery from the virus. Potassium seemed to help with the residual weakness along with other vitamins and herbs recommended by Dr. Klinghardt.
Dr. Roger Seheult , Med Cram co-founder, recommends treating COVID-19 with the right medication at the right phase of the virus. He said in his interview by Med Cram that some people may have lingering symptoms after being infected. Dr. Seheult takes a hot and cold shower and vitamin d, zinc, NAC, and quercetin supplements daily. A hot and cold shoulder is effective to boost your immunity. The shower protocol consists of a 5 min shower as hot as you can and 1 minute of cold shower; then, 3 minutes of hot and 1 minute of cold and repeat 3 minutes of hot 1 minute of cold.
Historic Account of a Pandemic Flu to See How To Get Better
To my surprise, the 1918 flu pandemic had a similar impact on the world as COVID-19. Social distancing, including the cloth face mask, was the only thing that flattened the curve. Handwashing and quarantine were also effective in protecting the masses. You can view a brief description of the 1918 flu that killed approximately 10 million people.
Conclusion of COVID-19 Survivor: Experts Tell How to Get Better
COVID-19 survivors may be still experiencing symptoms of although their repeated test might be negative. Hypertensives are at higher risk for the severe case of COVID-19 systems; so, it’s essential to know what to do quickly and how to get better.
Once exposed to COVID-19, get tested and treated as soon as possible and protect your loved ones from the virus. If you are a smoker, perhaps it’s time to consider smoking cessation to reduce your risk of complications. Knowing our history of the 1918 pandemic may be useful to know that “this too will past.”
Use the latest protocol that has a couple of case studies to support its effectiveness. More research is being done to confirm. Essentially it is Vitamin c, zinc, and quercetin prophylactically and for adjunct treatment.
We now have over 300 first-person accounts of how Quercetin +/or Zinc may improve early Covid19 symptoms (confirmed + unconfirmed). Zinc impeding viral replication, Quercetin possibly acting as Zinc ionophore, S-protein blocker, IL-6 and furin inhibitor. Please retweet.
