There has been some confusion about the title of this blog, podcast, and YouTube channel. Therefore, I wanted to set the record straight as we approach 10, 000 podcast listeners, up to 500 blog readers a day, and over 350 YouTube subscribers. If you are not sure if you are a hypertension resistor or not, I thought I might help you find out.

Here are the qualifications for being a Hypertension Resistor:

1) If you have a validated blood pressure monitor for home and monitor your blood pressure routinely and share readings with your health care provider then you might be a Hypertension Resistor.

2) If you’ve ever gone to your drug store for over the counted medication and asked for the consultation desk then you might be a Hypertension Resistor.

3) If you have asked your health care provider for a Vitamin D test within the last year then you might be a Hypertension Resistor.

4) If you have called your doctor’s office for an appointment and requested to see the nurse practitioner then you might be a Hypertension Resistor.

5) If your best friend called you for a lunch date and you volunteered to fix a home-cooked lunch instead then you might be a Hypertension Resistor.

6) If every day you carry around your water and bring your food for lunch you might be a Hypertension Resistor.

7) If you ever purchased a water filter for your kitchen and shower you might be a Hypertension Resistor.

8) If you avoid negative people and reduce your stress with breathing exercises or meditation you might be a Hypertension Resistor.

9) If you never smoked or stopped smoking and try your best to avoid secondhand smoke including purchasing an air purifier you might be a Hypertension Resistor.

10) If you chase the sunrise and sunset, you might be a Hypertension Resistor.

11) If you know your target goal blood pressure and strive to keep your blood pressure at your target goal without medications or with a miminal amount of effective medication, you might just be a Hypertension Resistor.
