How to Put Your Mind at Ease During COVID-19. As you might know, COVID-19 has created trauma, stress, and anxiety in many people. Adults and children alike are experiencing emotional pain from the impact of this pandemic.
It’s obvious that people who experienced severe COVID-19 symptoms and long COVID have been through a lot of pain. Also, anyone who has lost loved ones, friends, coworkers, or anyone they cared about has experienced loss and emotional pain.
Alternative Therapies
Some research studies have suggested that Transcendental Meditation (TM) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) are effective therapies. Keep in mind that this is not medical advice. Ask your doctor these therapies would be appropriate for you. is a type of psychotherapy that treats emotional symptoms that follow trauma, such as PTSD.
I have put together several videos below to help you learn and understand alternative ways to help ease your mind. Transcendental meditation and EMDR are evidence-based practices that have helped many people. However, some health care providers don’t believe these two techniques are valid. Perhaps they are correct in their thinking, but some scientists swear that TM or EDMR work. I hope the information contained in this blog would provide a solution to help you.
